Publisher review:
EXE Password Protector allows you to password-protect any Windows executable file. It can be used for locking email and IM programs, tax/finance software to prevent accessing your personal data. EXE Password Protector can be used for password-protection of executable files located on local or network drives. Once the executable is protected, you may copy it to another PC, to CD/DVD disc or to other media as it will stay protected.
EXE Password Protector won't lock system critical files. That's why you don't need to worry about Windows crashing. If you need to unprotect a password-protected executable file, removing of the protection won't affect the executable's integrity.

WinXP, WinVista, Win2000, Win2003, Win98, WinME

Operating system:

Limitations:
It allows you to protect unlimited number of files, however, once the trial period is over, protected files won't be launched.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
